Prerequisite: None. Book: $24.95 (tax included)
Curriculum: 60 Basic verbs (présent, passé composé, futur proche). Interrogative & negative forms. Articles. Demonstrative and direct pronouns. Pronunciation level 1.

Elementary Level 2 - Tuition for 8 weeks $360. Register & Pay one week in advance: $350 (-10% for members)

Prerequisite: See level one curriculum. Book: $24.95 (tax included)
Curriculum: 100 verbs (présent, passé composé, futur proche et imparfait). Reflexive verbs. Comparison. Adverbs. Prepositions. Pronunciation. Vocabulary.
Incentives: Same as level 1

Pronunciation Level 1. 10:00 to 11:00 - the 7 basic sounds and nasals
Pronunciation Level 2. 11:00 to 12:00 - combinations and special sounds

Pronunciation Level 3. 12:30 to 1:30 - liaisons, intonations and rhythm
Pronunciation Level 4. 1:30 to 2:30 - contractions and spoken French

REVIEW OF VERB TENSES. A thorough review of each verb tense with our home made manual. Get a better understanding of how these tenses work together with the most commonly used verbs. First part of the 2.5 hour course. Book: $21.70.
FRANÇAIS QUOTIDIEN POUR UN(E) AMERICAIN(E) A PARIS. An interactive review of all the vocabulary and situations you may encounter in France. Second part of the 2.5 hour course. Book: $21.70. Courses may be taken separately. ($210-$200)

7 hours of instruction. $126. Snacks & drinks provided during the breaks. Curriculum: Conversation. Vocabulary. Grammar (includes a review of the verb tenses, prepositions and pronouns). The material used in our intensive immersion program is different for every course offered, so students can repeat and cover various aspects of the language.

Advanced Level 7 - Tuition for 8 weeks $240 per course. Register & Pay one week in advance: $230 - (-10% for members)

HISTOIRE, ART ET CIVILISATION - Tuition for 4 weeks $125-$115
HISTOIRE DE LA LANGUE FRANCAISE: DU TRAITE DE RASTATT A LA CHARTE EUROPENNE DES LANGUES REGIONALES. Comment la langue de Molière a-t-elle été promue au statut de langage diplomatique? Comment a-t-elle été ensuite imposée à l’école grâce à la volonté farouche de Jules Ferry et des Républicains. Cependant, si la Troisème République, soucieuse d’abolir toute disctinction sociale et régionale, éradicte les dialectes, ceux-ci auront leur revanche en 1999 avec la Charte européenne qui prévoit la protection des langues régionales.
