Dès le début del'ère chrétienne, les théologiens voient l'homosexualité comme une atteinte àl'ordre divin, condamnation qui n'exclut pourtant pas une certaine tolérancesociale. C'est à partir du XIVe siècle que la répression s'abat sur les"sodomites", fréquemment envoyés au bûcher. On examinera la figureemblématique de saint Sébastien dans l'imaginaire homosexuel et le problèmede l'absence de terme pour désigner l'homosexualité à l'époque médiévale.

Grammar (review of the verb tenses, prepositions and pronouns). The material used in our intensive immersion courses is different for every intensive offered, so students can repeat our program at the same level and cover various aspects of the language.

PRONUNCIATION INTENSIVE

10:00 to 11:00 a.m. - the 7 basic sounds and nasals.
11:00 to noon - combinations of vowels and special sounds.
12:00 to 1:00 p.m. - liaisons, intonations and rhythm.
1:00 to 2:00 p.m. - contractions and spoken French.
